What happens to data when you use this site
Last updated 2026-10-25. This policy is for blackoutcurtainshub.com and its brand subdomains.
The email address you send us
If you write to [email protected], we get your message and your return address. We keep it only as long as it takes to answer and to fix whatever you reported. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.
Server logs kept for security
Our host records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — so we can spot abuse and keep the site running. These logs are not used to build profiles of visitors and are not shared for advertising.
The catalog picker and your browser
The picker that filters blackout curtains stores your choices in your browser's localStorage. That data stays on your device. It is not transmitted to our servers, and clearing your browser storage removes it.
California residents and the CCPA
We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. If you are a California resident and want to know what we hold about you, or want it deleted, email [email protected] and we will act on the request.
Children and this site
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to [email protected] and we will remove it.
Asking us to delete something
To request deletion of anything you have sent us, email [email protected] with enough detail for us to find it. We will confirm once it is gone. Changes to this policy will appear on this page.
Visit counts
This site loads Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are opened. A short notice on the site explains that. Google’s own policy covers that processing. We do not receive your name from it.
